That depends on the industry but generally Front Desk Officers are well remunerated for their contribution to the organization. The Gross Pay of an average Front Desk Officer ranges between N600,000 to N1,200,000 per annum depending on a number of factors. The notable factors you need to look out for are:

- The industry category,
- Academic qualification of the FDO and
- Relevant work experience
CAREER PROSPECT OF A FRONT DESK OFFICER
Some jobs are dead end jobs but Front Desk is not one of such. A Front Desk Officer can change jobs by moving from one employer to another within the same industry or to another industry entirely. Apart from this kind of job transition, a Front Desk Officer also has the opportunity to transit into different roles within an organization depending on his/her ability to learn and acquire new skills. There are instances where an FDO became a transaction officer and later became a Customer Service Officer. Personally I know an FDO who through continual education and self development became a business manager in a big commercial bank.
